Are these styrofoam sheets?
They’re what most people mean when they search for styrofoam: white EPS (expanded polystyrene), a lightweight foam made of tiny fused beads. It’s craft foam, not the blue insulation board. For clean cuts without loose beads, use a hot wire cutter.

What size is each piece?
Each one measures 11 x 17 x 1 inches, and it cuts down easily to any smaller size.

Will pins and tacks hold in it?
Yes. Straight pins, T-pins and thumbtacks push in easily and hold firmly, which makes these great for pinning boards and displays.
