Are these styrofoam squares?
They’re what most people mean when they search for styrofoam: white EPS (expanded polystyrene), a lightweight foam made of tiny fused beads. It’s craft foam, not the blue insulation board. For clean cuts without loose beads, use a hot wire cutter.

Can I use it for fresh flowers?
No. EPS doesn't hold water, so it's made for silk, dried and artificial arrangements. For fresh flowers, use wet floral foam.

Can I glue pieces together to build bigger?
Yes. White (PVA) glue, foam-safe craft glue or a low-temp glue gun all bond EPS well. Avoid high-temp glue guns and solvent-based adhesives, which melt it.
